File Buddy 8 Status
Once File Buddy 9 was released, File Buddy 8 ceased to be available for purchase. This page is for File Buddy 8 users who need to replace their copy of File Buddy 8 for some reason. If you ended up at this page because you want to give File Buddy a test run, do not download File Buddy 8. Download File Buddy 9 instead.
Upgrading to File Buddy 9
File Buddy 9 is a major upgrade from File Buddy 8. See our purchasing info page for complete information on upgrading from previous versions of File Buddy.
System Requirements for File Buddy 8.1
File Buddy 8.1 requires Mac OS X 10.3 or later and is fully compatible with Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger). File Buddy 8.1 is not compatible with and will not run on any version of the Mac OS prior to Mac OS X 10.3. File Buddy 8 has not been tested with Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) because File Buddy 8 had been superseded by File Buddy 9 long before Mac OS X 10.5 was released.
File Buddy 7 is still available if you are using Mac OS 9 or Mac OS X 10.1 – 10.2.8.
Redistribution
Even though File Buddy 8 is no longer a current product, it is not shareware, freeware, in the public domain, or anything of that nature. As with all versions of File Buddy, it may not be made available on other sites for download or redistributed by any means without our permission and permission for that is not available for discontinued products. By downloading File Buddy you acknowledge that you agree to the terms of our download agreement.
