If you are using Mac OS X 10.3.9 – 10.5.8 or later you should get File Buddy 9 or File Buddy 10.
Obtaining a license for File Buddy 7
File Buddy 7.6 is still available for individuals using Mac OS 9 or Mac OS X 10.1-10.2.8, but we no longer sell File Buddy 7. If you would like to use it feel free to do so with this license:
System Requirements
File Buddy 7.6 requires Mac OS 10.1 or later (v10.1.4 or later recommended), or Mac OS 9 with CarbonLib 1.5 or later.
File Buddy 7.6.3
The release corrects a few minor issues. See the release notes for the complete description of fixes in this release and other releases of File Buddy 7. No new features were introduced in v7.6, so the documentation has not be updated. However, you should read the About File Buddy 7.6.2 document which is installed with 7.6.2 for instructions to update the contextual menu plug-in if you didn't update it as a part of v7.6.

Download the File Buddy Extras for Mac OS 9
This package contains the File Buddy CP control panel and contextual menu plug-ins supplied with File Buddy 6, which will work with File Buddy 7.6 when using Mac OS 9. If you have installed these items as part of a previous installation of File Buddy 6, you do not need to download these items. If you have never installed File Buddy 6, or you installed it and subsequently removed these items, you will need to download the extras and follow the instructions provided for installation.
